Puppy Classes:
Our 4 week program is targeted for the new puppy owner, for puppies 7- 12 weeks of age.
If you're asking yourself “What the heck have I gotten myself into with this new puppy?”, then this is the class for you!
We give all the knowledge needed to enable you to raise a happy, safe, and well-socialized puppy.
Things we will cover in class:
- effective house-training techniques
- Nutrition
- Crate training
- Spay/neuter considerations
- The importance of early socialization
- Chewing/teething/biting/rough play
- Keeping pup's attention
- Walking on a loose leash
- Recall (coming when called)
- Sit (the position for the dog to use to ask for what it wants)
- Handling(gets them used to examinations by vets, groomers, children, etc.)
