About Jane.....

Born and raised in Nova Scotia I have always had an interest in animals since I was a small girl.
I successfully managed a large franchised pet shop in Halifax for several years providing opportunity to observe and learn about animal behavior first hand.(My animal knowledge is not limited to just dogs, I have trained and owned several animals, including cats, small animals, pigs, sheep, fish, reptiles and birds.)

I started studying dog behaviour back in 1996.
My belief in positive training and having fun with my dogs led me to become the head coach and instructor for the "Push The  Limits Flyball Team".  Two of my rescue dogs have completed their Flyball Dog Champion Titles (FDCh). and I have put many titles on other flyball dogs.
I  have also assisted in numerous movie productions, as a animal wrangler, training a variety of animals including dogs, cats, rodents, & snakes. I've worked on Movies such as The Shipping News, Black Harbour, Trailor Park Boys and many commercials.
I continuously updates my skills as a coach and a trainer through participation in various conferences, seminars and workshops.
These include a dog aggression and behaviour conferences at the University of Guelph, and a flyball seminars in Ontario.
I am a member of  CAPPDT (Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers)

In my spare time I like to help with Rescue and work with these dogs so they can have a second chance.
I have a strong passion for my work, and believes that every dog should be given the chance to shine.

Ditto.....

Ditto is my Border Jack ( Half Jack Russell Terrier and half Border Collie).
She is my buddy and  best friend.
Ditto enjoys working and helping me teach owners and their dogs to communicate.
You will see Ditto in classes being the "demo" dog.
She lives for flyball and has her  "ONYX"  Flyball Dog Title. She also enjoys her Disc and Bowling (yes, she can bowl!!) and has helped shelters fundraise by doing flyball, disc and bowling demonstrations and half time shows. She has taught me so much in this journey together.

This is "Jackpot" my  Red & White Border Collie. Jack is a true gentleman. He lives for Flyball and has achieved MVP  2008 for our Flyball Region 10. He also has his "Flyball Grand Champion" Title.
This is my newest addition "Mullagan Moy" "MOY" for short.
He is a Border Collie X Aussie mix.  I'm looking forward to training him for flyball, obedience, disc dog and other fun adventures.
This is Tuxedo.
He is a rescue Border Collie.
I rescued him back in 2000 from a sheep farm.
Tux was going to be shot by the farmer if I did not take him, he was very under weight and tied to a fence post with a six foot chain and bailing twine around his neck as a collar. Tux was 18 months old when I found him.
After nursing him back to health he started Agility & Flyball training. Tuxedo competed in Flyball and received his "Flyball Champion Title" before I found out that he was loosing his sight.
Tux retired from flyball back in 2003 and is now totally blind. He still enjoys his walks and teaches me every day, even though life might not deal you a fair hand sometimes, there are always things in life we should be grateful for.
I am very grateful we have each other.
